“The Funday, run by our community, was set up in support of the east African crises, with the vision to see the local neighbourhood be united. It was a day to let people in the area come together and share their culture and life with each other. A time to not see the differences but to be more united. The day was filled with games, laughter, food and community. People from different backgrounds shared their food and a local samba band preformed. A girl that was attending the funday said that she loves these kinds of days and goes to all of them.  A few from our community got in contact with an asylum seeking man that might attend a freedom in Christ course that the community will be running. Through this day the community got to share God’s love with their neighbours and the day was backed up with prayer every hour.”
